Addition_and_subtraction_of_algebraic_expressions
You have already studied how to add and subtract algebraic expressions in grade 7, let's see how much you remember!
An algebraic expression is a statement built up from integer constants, variables, and the algebraic operations like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
An identity is an equality, which is true for all values of the variables in the equality. Here we will learn three standard identities- (a+b)^2=a^2+b^2+2ab, (a-b)^2=a^2+b^2-2ab, (a+b)(a-b)=a^2-b^2.
Multiplying_a_monomial_by_a_monomial
Here we will learn multiplication of monomials by finding area of rectangle.
Multiplying_a_polynomial_by_a_polynomial
Here we will learn how to multiply a polynomial with a polynomial, a binomial with a binomial, and a binomial with a trinomial.
